Two Days of Noise in Holliston

The first stop was the Hollliston Newcomers & Neighbors Touch-A-Truck fundraiser. This event gets a little loud, so we went during the quiet hour to enjoy the displays.

Stumpy’s crane hoists the stars and stripes high over the Miller School parking lot.
Miss Penelope Cain is not quite sure how to handle the HPD motorcycle as Officer Ryan Parent (a real motorcycle officer) looks on.
Hopkinton’s Steve Pettyman brought his vintage US Army jeep.
A heavy equipment operator’s dream come true. Holliston’s DPW brought one of its snowplow trucks – just in case (no snow Saturday).
Miss Penelope is joined by her cousin Ben Furey examining this payloader.
This attraction actually moved and was very popular throughout the day.

On Sunday, the Holliston High School Class of 2022 blared through town to show off their pride and where they’re headed for college.

If car horns weren’t enough, the HFD provided a little extra air horn.
Red cars, blue cars they all held happy graduates.
And the cars kept coming and coming.
The driver on the left seems to be having the time of his life. The driver on the right, John Drohan, chauffeurs his TWO graduating daughters.

And then, suddenly it was quiet, and everyone headed to someplace cooler!
