Early colonial settlers might be amused that 297 years later the town would have a committee called “Envisioning Future Holliston”. Their prime concern was most likely firewood and something to eat. Only a handful of families resided in town back then which was a part of Sherborn.

Community Farm Committee Reviews Haunted Walk
The Community Farm Advisory Committee met Wednesday night November 17, 2021 in a new meeting spot. The Committee used a brand-new conference space built on the upper level of the Town Hall.
Get Rid of Those Pallets – Help Build a Bonfire!
The Friends of the Community Farm will be holding an event on December 31st from 8 pm to 10:30 pm. Part of the event includes a large bonfire.
American Military Casualties to be Memorialized
The week leading up to Veterans Day will once again see the names of those military troops killed during the past year honored on posters lining Washington Street in the area of town hall. The fall tribute will begin on Saturday November 6th and be taken down the day after Veterans Day November 12th.

Local Shopkeepers say “Buy It Now”
Kamala Boutique owner Kate Lamontague told the Holliston Reporter on Wednesday that sixty to seventy percent of her merchandise is either held up or canceled. Lamontague said that her business hasn’t popped back since the pandemic arrived nearly twenty months ago. People just didn’t come out Lamontague explained.

Veterans Day Dinner A Go
American Legion Commander Steve Bradford announced at the Post’s regular monthly meeting on Sunday October 3rd, that the Annual Veterans Day Dinner will be held this year at the Holliston Senior Center on Thursday November 11th beginning at 11 am.

Artists Invited for Farmers’ Market Finale
Local artists will once again have a chance to display their talent at this coming Sunday’s Farmers’ Market at Blair Square.
Sunday October 10th will mark the final market of the season. All artists are invited with a free space at the market.

Marigold Project Keeping It Colorful
The American Legion’s Downtown Marigold Project recently deployed 360 chrysanthemum plants around town. The aim of this fall endeavor is to maintain color along the heavily traveled routes in town.
