East Holliston Visual Improvement – 22 Years in The Making
The Town’s 1999 Master Plan cited the East Holliston Commercial District as the eastern “gateway” into town. Under the heading of Town and Village Centers – the plan suggested “Improve the visual appeal of the East Holliston Commercial district by identifying places for additional landscaping.”

A busy weekend coming up here in town. After scoring some pizza at the Lions’ Club Carnival, dropping off your hazardous waste on Saturday at the Adams Middle School, and attending the American Legion’s Laser Light Show at Goodwill, why not bring your favorite frog to the Farmer’s Market on Sunday.
Laser Light Show Saturday Night
Remember just a few weeks ago, if you remembered you had no mask half-way into the grocery store, you’d head back to get the mask. Then rather instantaneously, pandemic restrictions eased. The quick change allowed the folks at the local Lions Club to swiftly organize their Annual Carnival which had been in doubt due to the pandemic.
Meantime, the local American Legion Post 47 had scheduled a laser light show on July 10, 2021. Originally, the show was scheduled to celebrate the Legion’s 100th Anniversary in 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19.
The Second Farmer’s Market Happens Tomorrow
Come down to Blair Square from 9 am – 1 pm on Sunday to see artists, farmers, and some hear some good music.
A Helping Hand for the Market
There are lots of little and big details when it comes to running a farmer’s market. There is the obvious — a business plan, a place to hold the market, insurance, trash removal, advertising, a need for vendors, and signage.
