The Holliston High Softball team continues to their breakout season by going 4-1 since the last update. Beginning last week the Panthers won 4 straight defeating Holbrook, Medway, Dover-Sherborn and Framingham.  During this stretch the Panthers scored a collective total of 55 runs while only allowing 13.  

Strap in for another edge-of-your-seat recap of Holliston’s Senior Softball week of action.Week 4:
Kampersal nipped Jasper Rock, 22-2 behind the bats of slugger, 1B Alex Kampersal (4-6, 5 RBI) and P George Kampersal, Jr who hit for the cycle and drove in the other 17 runs. It was a 15-run first that did in Jasper as Kampersal batted around and never looked back. Kampersal’s trademark solid defense made sure Jasper had no chance of getting back in the game.

Some squeakers and some blowouts. Just another week for the HSS gang.

Michelle and I would like to thank you, the readers, for tuning in each week for the game recaps.  I hope you all had as much fun reading them as we did putting them together.

On behalf of the Holliston Youth Basketball Board (Tom McHugh, Kevin Quinn, Michelle Friedman, Jason Cooper, and Derek Cordon) we would like to thank all the coaches, players, and parents for all their support this season.  We know that players aren’t showing up to practices and games without rides and we know they aren’t improving their game without some great coaching.  But most importantly, we would not have the joy of cheering from the stands each week without the players who put in the effort and time!  Thank you to everyone that was involved in making this basketball season a success.
