The School Committee met Thursday night in the privacy (somewhat) of each member’s home, voting once again to conduct business remotely during Holliston’s stay at home advisory.

U.S. Army Chief-of-staff General McConville spoke at the Governor’s briefing on April 18th. He said we are fighting a war against an invisible foe – the virus. A critical part of the strategy is identifying and quarantining those who have the virus. Two components of this strategy are increased testing and contact tracing.

Rep Dykema’s April 17th update begins, “As we approach the end of the first week of the “surge” period in Massachusetts, I want to again recognize what an extraordinary amount is being asked of our health care workers.”

We are in the 24th day of the Massachusetts stay-at-home advisory. As the Governor noted today, we are now fully in the “surge” period of COVID-19.
