Holliston Parks & Recreation – Summer Concerts in the Park
Holliston Community Farm – Continued Repair/Update Barn Electrical
Holliston Historical Society – Shoe Shop Repair
Downtown Marigold Project – Growing Benches Construction
A goal of the Holliston Newcomers & Neighbors is to give back to our community. One of the
ways this is accomplished is in the form of grants. The HNN Community Grant Fund money is
raised during the various fundraising activities held throughout the year. The 2024 fundraising
events that contributed to the 2025 HNN Community Grant Fund were Prize A Day for the
Month of May Calendar Raffle, Touch-A-Truck, Great Pumpkin Trail Walk and the HNN
Comedy Night. HNN wishes to thank all those that attended these events as well as the
volunteers who organized them.

The Historical Society is very grateful to the HNN for their support in helping to preserve a bit of Holliston’s history as a center for the manufacture of shoes and boots. Many components were made in small mom & pop shops and then sent to the factories like the Mill on Water Street.
Thank you HNN. Your grant helped the Downtown Marigold Project create benches at the community farm. With a heating system in place the plants arrive earlier and are more plentiful. I know how hard it is to fund raise and your efforts will show in the plantings around town. Thanks also to the farm advisory board for the use of the greenhouse making this a true community effort.
