Below is a chart illustrating the Hollistonian’s who have stepped up to be a candidate for elected office in the upcoming Town election. You will notice that no candidates have yet to draw nomination papers to serve on the Board of Assessors or the Board of Health. This chart is current as of Friday, March 18, 2022.
Marigold Project Back for Another Year

There are no days off between March and November for the Downtown Marigold Project. Sometimes it’s as simple as watering seedlings for 20 minutes in early spring. Other times it’s the 4 hours spent watering hanging baskets downtown during a dry spell.

Weston Pond Field Open for Part Time Off-Leash Dog Activity on Trial Basis

The Holliston Parks and Recreation Department is looking to combat an overabundance of goose activity at Weston Pond Field. The geese have become a serious nuisance, causing unsanitary field conditions, resulting in disruptions in play for the local youth organizations. Holliston Parks and Recreation is piloting a policy change to allow for off-leash dog activity during restricted hours at Weston Pond, with the goal to deter the geese from congregating on that space.

Prana’s “Merry Band of Players” Present Ramona Quimby

Ramona Quimby, a much beloved series of books by Beverly Cleary, came to life today in Prana’s studio. Wearing masks to keep everyone safe, fourteen young thespians presented a play full not of magical creatures or cataclysmic events but of the modern-day life of two girls.
