This week features our Town Meeting. It will begin Monday night at 7:30pm in the High School Auditorium – important decisions are on the Warrant.

Resident Chef Silvia Ribas’ main goal is to share her recipes that focus on helping residents maintain a balanced and whole diet. Her new local HCAT-TV show Garden in the Kitchen will give her an opportunity to do just that.

Fire Chief Michael Cassidy provides health and safety protocols for the Town Meeting – Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Holliston High School, 7:30pm.

Following a 6 PM Executive Session for the purpose of collective bargaining strategy with the Holliston Federation of Teachers, School Committee (SC) Chair Stacey Raffi called for and all present observed a moment of silence. Raffi said, “[For] our Hopkinton neighbor, Mikayla Miller who has lost her life, and her family and friends, who are suffering.”

Spring has sprung and vaccinations are on the rise. The result was a flurry of outdoor activities raising funds and spirits. Our Saturday morning stroll brought us to three different events bringing people safely together for great causes: charity and health.

The Governance Committee (GC) held two Public Forums to review their work with residents, gather input, and answer questions. The first was held on March 25, 2021 and the second was conducted on May 6, 2021. The summary of both sessions is included here.

During Wednesday evening’s Library Trustees (LT) meeting, Library Director Leslie McDonnell provided an update to last month’s goings-on on at the Holliston Library.

Chief Matthew Stone provides an overview of HPD Personnel and Community Relations events – including the recent Coffee with a Cop at Coffee Haven.

The Holliston Community Farm is growing this season—literally! We have kept operations going throughout the pandemic and are happy to say that things are in full bloom these days over at 34 Rogers Road.

The Town’s oldest veteran, 96-year-old Charlie Nickerson has been selected this year’s Memorial Day Parade Marshal by the Town’s Memorial Day Committee.
