Our positive case numbers are up 193% in the last 30 days, and our hospitalization numbers are up 177%. Our positive test rate is up from 2.3% a month ago to 5.8% today.
Select Board Continues Tax Classification Hearing
The Select Board convened for its December 7, 2020 meeting at 6:30 pm. The agenda was modified so that the Tax Classification Hearing continuation began at 7:30 pm.
Library Trustees Conduct Special Meeting
The Library Trustees met with Library Director Leslie McDonnell during a brief special meeting on Monday evening at 7 PM to vote on a possible pause of in-person visits to the building.
COVID-19: December 7, 2020 Update from Representative Dykema
Today, the administration announced that it was expanding the availability of free COVID-19 testing across the Commonwealth, increasing access to testing sites in areas with a high incidence of COVID-19.

This a busy week for Holliston’s Boards and Committees. The Select Board continues the Tax Classification Hearing at Monday’s meeting.
Catherine “Kay” T. Sheehan at 96
Catherine “Kay” T. Sheehan, 96, of Holliston, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
Funeral services are being held privately with family and burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
Vasco A. Brovelli at 95
Vasco A. Brovelli, 95, of Holliston, passed away at Milford Regional Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2020.
Vasco Brovelli’s visitation and service have been postponed.
Holliston Takes Care of Business
As the snow began to fall and having reached a quorum (50 for this meeting), Moderator Bill Mayer called the Holliston Special Town Meeting to order at 1:05 pm. Before moving on to the business at hand, Moderator Mayer asked for a moment of silence to remember the 250,000 + American lives lost to the pandemic and to reflect on the passing of Bill Stickney and Vasco Brovelli.
School Committee Reviews Proposed Winter Athletics Plan
The remote meeting of the School Committee on Thursday evening was called to order at 7:04 PM, and student members Julia O’Neill and Elise Andelman were welcomed aboard by Chair Stacey Raffi.
