The Senior Center has a couple of events this week. There is no Select Board meeting this week. Tuesday is a busy day for Town committee meetings.

Be On TV! Looking for Trivia Show Contestants
Holliston Cable Access Television (HCAT) is searching for residents to be contestants on a new community TV game show called “What Do You Know?” HCAT-TV personality Brian Winston will be the host and producer for this new local TV show. “It has always been a dream of mine to be host of a TV game show,” said Winston.

Senior Center Begins to Welcome Classes Back
In the beginning of July, the Holliston Senior Center began to open its doors to programs and classes previously presented on Zoom. The Writers’ class, watercolor class, yoga, and Zumba are among those now experiencing a total live or hybrid reintroduction.

Normally at this time of year I would be begging Mother Nature for just an inch or two of moisture for my Dahlia farm on Highland Street. Not this year!
Local teens to be featured in The Hanover Theatre Youth Summer Program’s Oklahoma!
Session One of The Hanover Theatre Conservatory’s Teen Youth Summer Program (YSP) presents Rodger & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! on Friday July 23rd (7pm) and Saturday July 24th (2pm & 7pm). The cast includes Holliston residents: Abby Eppinger, 15 (Ensemble) Colleen Malvey, 15 (Gertie Cummings).

Gillian Berkowitz Coming to The Holliston Historical Society
Gillian Berkowitz, pianist, composer and music director, will be performing at the Holliston Historical Society on August 8th, 2021 at 6 pm. Gillian has performed piano, keyboard, accordion, and vocals in over 40 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.
Calling all Gardeners, Sculptors, and Cooks
Enter your squash in the Great Zucchini contest at this Sunday’s Farmers Market. The contest will have three categories: size, sculpture, baking. The action begins at 11:00am in Blair Square.
