Holliston Awarded ‘Complete Streets’ Funding Program
HOLLISTON, Mass. July 15, 2022 – The Town of Holliston is pleased to announce that its application for MassDOT Complete Streets Funding Program was approved for $399,693 today.

Conservation Commissioner Wanted
The Holliston Conservation Commission, a seven-member volunteer board, currently has an opening. If you are a Holliston resident with an interest in wetland and conservation issues and would like to serve your Town on a volunteer board, then the Commission encourages you to apply for this position. No experience is necessary, however, experience in a field, such as science, engineering, or regulatory matters is helpful.

If you are looking for a summer read that is 100% pure fun, then The Bodyguard is for you. The main ingredients are sunshine, sass, swooning and swagger. Like any romcom, it has a far-fetched plot, lots of banter, and a predictable ending, but it also had lots of lovable characters, nostalgia and hope. I usually go for more darkness in my books but this one hit me at just the right time – a time when I wanted to be lost in a blissfully light and happy novel.

The Town of Holliston has free COVID test kits for Holliston residents, 4 kits per household, while supplies last.
Wanted: Used Clothing
Holliston brothers Sanjit and Pranav Govindarajan, members of the Cradles to Crayons Teen Leadership Corps, are collecting lightly worn clothing at four locations around town.

Civics Sunday: Two Community Forums Planned
The Select Board has received numerous presentations from consultants in May and June of 2022 that presented recommendations for the Town to consider. These presentations require follow-up “Community Forum” discussions, allowing for feedback from residents and stakeholders to influence these important processes and projects.
Holliston Rail Trail Receives Mass Trails Grant
The Town of Holliston was awarded funding under the 2022 MassTrails Grant program in the amount of $29,741. This MassTrails grant will provide funding to complete drainage improvements to the Upper Charles Trail near Phipps Tunnel. These funds will allow the Town to install drainage pipes to improve drainage and maintenance issues.
