The Town Clerk has shared the unofficial results from Tuesday’s election. The results will become official at a later date.

The May 24, 2021 meeting of the Holliston Select Board was called to order by Chair John Cronin at 7:01pm.

This was indeed a “Celebration in Words, Song and Dance!” This outdoor delight, performed in Christ the King Church’s parking lot, had something for everyone.

The big event this week is the Town Election – Tuesday; 7am – 8pm. Let your voice be heard at the ballot box.

Chair Stacey Raffi opened Thursday night’s School Committee (SC) remote meeting at 7:04 PM, following Executive Session for the purpose of collective bargaining strategy with the Holliston Federation of Teachers.
The next remote and open meeting of the SC is Tuesday, May 25, at 8 PM. The agenda includes School Choice seats and a vote on the Superintendent’s contract.

As part of the May 6th announcement of Holliston’s 2021 Memorial Day observance / parade, further details were forthcoming. Here are those details. We hope that all who feel safe doing so, take part in this year’s remembrance of those lost while defending our nation.

Town elections are Tuesday, May 25. In hopes of providing voters with helpful information, Diverse Holliston developed and presented a set of questions to each candidate of the Select Board and another set to the School Committee. Candidates were informed that their answers would be shared with the public. Diverse Holliston does not endorse any particular candidate.

The early worm caught the fish and the early runners had it made in the shade. The HHS class of 2021 brought the noise in the afternoon.

Members of the Framingham Union Aid Association (FUAA) were on hand to make several donations Friday morning, May 14, at the Holliston Police Department.

The Safe Routes to School task force is coordinating a Walk and Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 26, for the Holliston Public Schools.
