HPD Observes Police Officer Memorial Day

It’s been nearly 42 years since Officer Johnson was murdered here in Holliston, yet the Holliston Police Department still comes together alongside the Johnson family every Police Memorial Day to honor and remember his sacrifice. Having breakfast with John’s widow Gerry, daughter Jess, and two of his grandkids that he never met is a reminder that this heinous crime still has a lasting impact on the Johnson family.

Anke Geurtsen at 91

Anke Geurtsen of Holliston passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 91.
A memorial service will be held on June 24th at 10am at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Holliston.
