During this reporting period, the backup ambulance was called into service more than once to handle two EMS calls at about the same time.
The September meeting of the Holliston Council on Aging (CoA) was held on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021. Chair Yvette Cain called the meeting to order at 2:01 pm. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format with some members in person and others Zooming in.
The Board of Health, Town of Holliston, MA in accordance with and under the authority granted by Section 31 of Chapter 111 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, hereby schedules a hearing on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at 7:15 PM via remote meeting (see agenda on Holliston website for link), to hear public comment regarding updating the Holliston food regulations, retail residential kitchen food permit fee, and fees regarding accessory building review.
The crisp, cool morning air portended a great start to the 2021 SSF Yard Sale. Tables and rooms had been carefully prepared, some stuffed to overflowing with donations from every corner of Holliston and beyond.

James C. Baxter, 69, of Gilmanton, NH passed away September 11, 2021 at Boston Medical Center. Jim was the son of William F. Baxter Jr. and the late Jean W. Baxter.
Funeral arrangements are being held privately with family and are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.

The Holliston School Committee met Thursday, September 9, 2021, in the HPS Central Office Conference Room and remotely. Chair Cynthia Listewnik read the remote participation statement and called the meeting to order at 7:06PM.
