Holliston Water Department Bills Coming Soon
The quarterly water bills will be mailed out Thursday, October 15, 2020. This bill reflects water usage for the period July – September 2020 and any arrears.
James Michael Hilliard at 64
James Michael Hilliard, 64, of Holliston, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 following a 3 year battle with ALS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
School Committee Meets Thursday Evening
The School Committee meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM on October 8, by Chair Stacey Raffi, following an Executive Session for the purpose of Collective Bargaining. Visitors to the meeting included Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Michael Cassidy, Board of Health Director Scott Moles, and Director of Athletics, Matt Baker.
Civics Sunday: Special Town Meeting Date Change
The Select Board has voted to delay Special Town Meeting from the regularly scheduled date of Monday, October 26, 2020. The new date and time selected is Saturday, December 5, 2020, at 1:00p.m. at the High School Auditorium, 370 Hollis Street.
Library Trustees Meet on Stormy Night
A quorum was quickly assembled online for a remote meeting of the Library Trustees on Tuesday evening at 7, and was called to order by Chair Nancy Baron. Following the approval of the September 2 meeting minutes, the Trustees greeted Library Director, Leslie McDonnell, who presented the Director’s Report.

Cleaning Up from the Storm?
The Marshall Street Recycling Area will be open for its regular hours on Saturdays, that is 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Additionally, the area will be open two Sundays—October 10 and October 18—from 8:00AM to 3:00 PM.
