The Holliston Lions Club will be holding its annual youth speech contest on November 20 this year and the contest is open to any high school student who resides in Holliston. This is a great opportunity for students to practice their public speaking skills and add to their college resumes. The speech topic this year is “The Best Advice I Ever Received Was…”. The competition starts at the local club and proceeds through several levels of competition ending several months later with a state wide competition. There are prizes and/or awards for each contestant at every level of the competition.
Students who are interested may contact Ms. Shawna Frost at the Holliston High School or Tony Mistretta, contest chair, at anthony.mistretta@comcast.net.
