The December 1, 2021, remote meeting of the Library Trustees began at 7:01 PM with Chair Karla Alfred’s roll call of members. On this evening, Gweneth Swain, newest member, was present for her first meeting and a kind welcome.
Early colonial settlers might be amused that 297 years later the town would have a committee called “Envisioning Future Holliston”. Their prime concern was most likely firewood and something to eat. Only a handful of families resided in town back then which was a part of Sherborn.

The Community Farm Advisory Committee met Wednesday night November 17, 2021 in a new meeting spot. The Committee used a brand-new conference space built on the upper level of the Town Hall.
Chair Cynthia Listewnik opened the Thursday evening (11.18.21) meeting of the School Committee (SC) to face masked participants in the Holliston High library and to remote viewers watching the HCAT livestream. All members of the School Committee were present.
The Metrowest Interfaith Dialogue Project (hollistoninterfaith.org) is a coalition of inter-religious communities based in Holliston but extends beyond to promote the religious and cultural diversity of our communities. Recently, there were incidents of bias in the public schools of Holliston, including racial, homophobic, antisemitic graffiti. School and town officials, along with the local clergy are organizing ways to engage the community about these issues.
