Bright and early on Thanksgiving, the Holliston Youth Lacrosse’s annual 5K Turkey Trot returned after a pandemic hiatus. It was a beautiful morning with cool temps for the runners to get out and burn off some energy.
The Community Farm Advisory Committee met Wednesday night November 17, 2021 in a new meeting spot. The Committee used a brand-new conference space built on the upper level of the Town Hall.
After spending this coming “Small Business Saturday” shopping in Holliston’s shops, why not find your way down to Blair Square around 4:00pm to catch this year’s tree lighting! Toys for Tots donations will be accepted.
Members of the Lions Club were out Sunday decorating the town. The annual program which had fallen on leaner times a few years back, was reinvigorated by Lion Ed Daniels.

The Holliston Lions Club is seeking your assistance! This year, we’re donating funds to Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) for various disaster relief assistance. To do this, we’re collecting your unused clothing in any condition to donate to Savers. Savers will pay us by the pound for the clothing and all funds raised will go to LCIF.
Holliston Newcomers & Neighbors invites you to join us at our Great Pumpkin Trail Walk on Sunday, October 31st from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Holliston Rail Trail. There are games set up along the first section of the trail up to the first bridge – great for young kids of all ages – and small prizes are distributed. The Great Pumpkin Trail Walk is an allergy-free way to celebrate Fall for the whole family.
Building off their successful 2020 campaign, the Foundation for MetroWest announces its 2nd annual ONEmetrowest Day on October 29th with an increased emphasis on community involvement and raising critical support for its mission. The Foundation, with the support of Foundation Trustee Louis Crosier, and his wife Hope, will match every gift made on ONEmetrowest Day, up to $50,000. In another effort to step up for the community, the Foundation for MetroWest is calling on community members to volunteer with one of six participating non-profit partners, going the extra mile to invest in the region through action.
