Council on Aging Holds its Annual Meeting
The Holliston Council on Aging held its monthly meeting on June 14, 2023. Chair Yvette Cain (below left front) called the meeting to order at 2:30pm – the start was delayed so all could enjoy the “Summer Sizzler” luncheon.

Sustainability Coordinator Matt Zettek is inviting Holliston residents to participate in a heat-mapping study organized by Framingham State University.
Rail Trail Central Street Crossing – Please Push the Button
The newly renovated Blair Square section of the Upper Charles Rail Trail has been reopened to trail users. With this multi-purpose installation, there are some safety reminders that seem appropriate: there are “rumble strips” of granite in the trail surface to caution bicyclists to slow down through Blair Square, and the Central Street crosswalk as rapid-flashing beacons to alert drivers to pedestrians.

Council 14224 Holds Successful Electronic Recycling Event
Holliston Knights of Columbus present a $1,275 check to Girl Scout Troop 62493 from proceeds collected at the Electronics Recycling Event sponsors by Green Team Junk Removal.

Town Clerk Elizabeth Greendale released these unofficial results from today’s Town Election at 8:35pm this evening.
