An Electronics Recycling Event will be on Saturday, May 14th, in the St. Mary’s church parking lot from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. They’ll take a wide variety of electronic gear, such as computers, laptops, flat screen TV’s and monitors, blenders, alarm clock/radios, fans, lamps, hair dryers, irons, vacuum cleaners, CD players, DVD players, electric drills, digital cameras, GPS systems, cellphones, tablets, printers, gaming consoles, and more.

Mother’s Day starts our busy week and then it’s Town Meeting that starts at 7:00pm Monday evening. A minimum of100 registered voters are needed to conduct the Town’s business. Childcare will be provided at the High School during Town Meeting night(s).

Friends of Holliston Trails Announces $45,000 Matching Fundraising Campaign in Support of Blair Square Redevelopment Project
The town-appointed Blair Square Committee has been working with the community for the past four years to design improvements to Blair Square, intended to enhance the usability of the area. With the plan set, the Committee is identifying funding sources for the project.

Library Trustees Meet
The Holliston Library Trustees met remotely Wednesday (5.4.22) evening, welcoming Mareourn Bo Yai (below Left), a resident who is running for the vacant Trustees’ position, opened as Bob Ostrow completes his term. Two members, Gwenyth Swain and Kristy Wiwzcar, are presently Trustees seeking re-election.
Holliston Fire Chief Presents at National Conference
More than one hundred attendees gathered at the Ridgeline Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado from April 26-28 for the 26th Annual Colorado Risk Reduction Network Conference of the Rockies. This conference is known to feature speakers from across the US with a wide range of knowledge and information; designed to bring topics which empower Community Risk Reduction (CRR) professionals and similarly minded emergency responders and private industry leaders to become better risk reduction resources in the field.
