Pickleball Courts Open at Goodwill Park!
Holliston Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that we have installed two Pickleball courts on the existing tennis courts at Goodwill Park. Pickleball is one of the fastest growing recreational activities in the country, and its popularity is sweeping through communities everywhere.

Tim’s Team Runners Successfully Complete the Virtual Boston Marathon 2021
On Monday, October 11, Holliston’s Rail Trail was the site of the Virtual Boston Marathon 2021 for Tim’s Team. Team members Jaime Murphy, Joanne O’Connell, and Claire Picard successfully completed 26.2 miles in one of the prettiest areas of Holliston. Because team member Don Quindley sustained an injury while training, he was unable to run.

The children’s story starts out innocently enough. Two young children wandering out in the forest, dropping breadcrumbs along the path hoping to mark their way back home. Deep in the darkness they come upon a wondrous house encrusted with sugary treats – gingerbread covers the sides; candies of all kinds tempt the children to come forward and to sample each delicious bite. They can’t believe their good fortune!

Select Board Met on Tuesday, October 12, 2021
This week’s Select Board meeting was held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 after observing Columbus / Indigenous Peoples Day on Monday. Chair Tina Hein called the meeting to order with a quorum at 7:03pm. Select Board Clerk John Cronin was absent.
Council on Aging Holds its October Meeting
Holliston’s Council on Aging recently met at the Senior Center. Chair Yvette Cain called the meeting to order at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Holliston Knights Surpass $250,000 in Charitable Donations!
On Saturday, October 9, 2021 the Saint Mary’s Council of the Knights of Columbus held the prize drawing for their 13th annual charity raffle. With this year’s raffle proceeds which are earmarked for donation, the Council has passed the one quarter of a million dollars in TOTAL donations since beginning their fundraising efforts in 2003.
