Weston Pond Field Open for Part Time Off-Leash Dog Activity on Trial Basis
The Holliston Parks and Recreation Department is looking to combat an overabundance of goose activity at Weston Pond Field. The geese have become a serious nuisance, causing unsanitary field conditions, resulting in disruptions in play for the local youth organizations. Holliston Parks and Recreation is piloting a policy change to allow for off-leash dog activity during restricted hours at Weston Pond, with the goal to deter the geese from congregating on that space.

Blair Square Committee Ponders Funding
Blair Square Committee members met Wednesday night in person as well as via Zoom. The meeting was brief, a half hour and the topic of discussion was how to pay for the $585,000 renovations slated for later this year.

Select Board Reviews DPW Proposed Budget
The Holliston Select Board, following the Board of Health’s March 1st advice, came out from behind their masks to conduct the March 7, 2022, meeting. Chair Tina Hein called the meeting to order precisely at 7:00pm. The meeting focused largely on the DPW’s proposed FY 23 budget.
